Private Residence
Hood Canal, WA
In 2001 I designed a monumental 28’ high kilnworked glass and steel sculpture for the three-story stairwell of a private residence in Hood Canal, Washington. The sculpture combines metal and fused glass to create the bark-like patterns of an airy, interior tree.
The team I assembled to complete the project included the architect, metal and glass fabricators, lighting consultant, interior designer, structural engineer, and installation crew.
