My sister, Nancy Bazaz, a talented metalsmith, collaborates on many of the pieces shown.
Frit jewelry: I blend and pack crushed glass (frit) into ceramic molds, then fire to melting temperature, which fuses the particles of frit together. Available as earrings, brooches necklaces and rings.
Micromosaic jewelry: I created a contemporary interpretation of ancient Roman micromosaics using fired bits of glass. I then set them in sterling bezels as pendants, brooches and earrings.
Enamel jewelry: Using silkscreens and stencils, I fire powdered glass enamels to multiple colors of sheet glass to make brooches, earrings, pendants and bracelets. I strive to make lightweight, comfortable, unique and engaging jewelry.
